The Report Recipients page manages the list of email addresses that receive scheduled performance reports from Outpost. Anyone enabled on this list receives the daily and weekly summaries.

ColumnDescription
DateWhen this recipient was added (date and time).
EmailThe recipient’s email address.
ActionsEnable/disable toggle and Edit.

Adding a recipient

  1. Click the Add New Recipient button
  2. Enter the email address in the dialog that appears
  3. Click Save
The new recipient will begin receiving reports on the next scheduled send.

Editing a recipient

Click Edit on any row to change a recipient’s email address. The recipient’s enabled state and date-added are preserved.

Enabling and disabling recipients

The toggle on each row controls whether that recipient currently receives reports. Disabling keeps the recipient in the list but pauses delivery; enabling resumes it. This is the way to stop sending reports to someone — the page does not currently expose a permanent-delete action. To remove a recipient outright, contact support@outpost.pub.

Report schedule

Outpost sends two types of scheduled reports:
ReportFrequencyWhen it sendsPeriod covered
Daily reportEvery dayMorning, in your publication’s timezonePrevious day’s activity
Weekly reportOnce per weekMorning, in your publication’s timezonePrevious 8 days of activity
Both reports go to all enabled recipients. Reports are only sent when there is meaningful activity to report — if nothing happened during the period, the report is skipped.
Report timing is based on your publication’s configured timezone, so you receive reports in the morning relative to your local time.

  • Reactivations (cancellations that were reversed before the subscription ended)
  • Cancellations and unsubscribes
  • Ended subscriptions (broken down by billing interval)
  • Net member growth (free, paid, and complimentary)

Autoresponder performance

  • How many paid subscribers signed up through Autoresponder emails
  • How many cancelling subscribers stayed on as paying members thanks to retention emails

  • Total tip amount (with breakdown by payment method)

Email campaign results

FAQ

Recipients receive both a daily report (covering the previous day) and a weekly report (covering the previous 8 days). Both reports summarize member growth, subscription activity, Autoresponder performance, CTA conversions, and more.
Yes. You can add any valid email address — it doesn’t need to belong to an Outpost user or team member. This is useful for sending reports to stakeholders, board members, or external partners.
The report content is generated automatically based on your publication’s activity. The sections that appear depend on which features you use — for example, donation stats only appear if you received tips during the period. Event-based alert notifications are configured separately on the Notifications page.
Reports are only sent when there is meaningful activity to report. If your publication had no new subscribers, renewals, cancellations, or other trackable activity during the reporting period, the report is skipped.
The daily and weekly schedules are fixed. To pause both reports for a specific recipient, disable their row using the toggle in the Actions column.
Reports use your publication’s configured timezone. The reporting period runs from midnight to midnight in that timezone, and reports are sent in the morning.
