The Plausible Dashboard requires the Plausible integration to be connected. If Plausible is not enabled, this page will display a message asking you to connect it.
The Plausible Dashboard embeds your Plausible Analytics dashboard directly inside Outpost, giving you site traffic data without leaving your publication’s admin panel.
For more detailed analytics (including custom goals, funnels, and detailed breakdowns), log into Plausible directly with the email Outpost added as a user on the account. The embedded dashboard in Outpost shows the most common metrics, but Plausible’s full interface offers additional depth.

The embedded dashboard includes Plausible’s standard time-period selector. You can view traffic for:

  • Last 30 days
  • Last 6 months
  • Last 12 months
  • Custom date range

Setting up Plausible

1

Connect the integration in Outpost

Go to the Plausible integration page in Outpost and connect Plausible. Outpost hosts and pays for the Plausible account and adds your site to it for you, so there’s no separate Plausible signup or API key to manage.
2

Add the tracking snippet to Ghost

Copy the snippet Outpost generates on the integration screen and paste it into Ghost under Settings → Code injection → Site Header. See the Plausible integration guide for the full walkthrough.
3

Open the dashboard

Once connected, the embedded dashboard appears automatically under Reports & Activity → Plausible Dashboard.

Plausible Integration

Connect your Plausible account to enable the embedded dashboard.

Outpost Dashboard

Member growth charts and subscription reporting.

CTA Dashboard

Track CTA conversion rates and top-performing slots.

FAQ

No. Outpost hosts and pays for the Plausible account that holds your site, so you don’t need your own Plausible subscription. Outpost embeds that dashboard inside your admin panel. If you want to log into Plausible directly, contact Outpost and we can add your team’s email addresses as users on the account.
There’s no separate Plausible bill for you while your site is on Outpost’s account. Outpost covers the Plausible hosting and billing as part of the integration. Plausible is a paid analytics service, and Outpost runs and pays for the account that holds your site.If you ever want to take your site elsewhere, Outpost can transfer ownership of it to you in about five minutes. From that point the Plausible subscription is yours, billed to you directly by Plausible at their standard rates.
Your Plausible integration is not yet configured. Go to the Plausible integration page to connect your account.
The embedded dashboard only supports Plausible. However, you can install any analytics script directly on your Ghost site independently of Outpost.
They never will, because the three tools count visitors differently and collect different amounts of traffic. Plausible is the conservative count and the one to report; see Traffic Numbers That Don’t Match for what causes each gap.
