Outpost’s PodBean integration auto-publishes new podcast episodes from your PodBean shows as Ghost posts. You can also import your full existing episode library.

What this integration does

  • Auto-publishes new episodes as Ghost posts as they go live on PodBean
  • Imports your existing episode library as Ghost posts (one-time backfill)
  • Optionally embeds the PodBean player in the post
  • Configurable publish status and tier access per import

Setup

  1. In PodBean, create a developer app and obtain your Client ID and Client Secret from PodBean’s developer portal.
  2. In Outpost, open the PodBean integration and enter:
    • Client ID — Your PodBean app’s Client ID.
    • Client Secret — Your PodBean app’s Client Secret.
  3. Click Load Available Podcasts and select which podcasts to sync.
  4. Configure per-podcast settings.

Differences from Megaphone

PodBean and Megaphone integrations work identically — both import episodes as Ghost posts. The only difference is which podcast platform you’re connecting to. Choose the integration that matches your podcast host. For Megaphone-specific options, see Megaphone. For OmnyFM, see OmnyFM.
